Development Director

Position Title: Development Director

Reports to: Executive Director Full Time hybrid position w/ full benefits (87,000-90,000/ annually)​ 

Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role for a Development Director. The Development Director will be responsible for planning and implementing fundraising strategies, managing annual giving campaigns, and fostering philanthropic relationships. Additionally, the Development Director will be involved in budgeting and financial management to support the organization's goals.

 

​Qualifications:

  • Experience in planned giving and annual giving.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in non-profit organizations, with at least 2 years in role involving direct active solicitation.

  • Knowledge of philanthropy and fundraising principles.

  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors.

  • Experience working in non-profit organizationsBachelor's degree in a related field (Preferred)

  • (Preferred) Experience reflecting close connection with, and understanding of, BIPOC communities we serve, and/or extensive knowledge of diverse communities.

Compensation: $87,000-$90,000 annually. Full medical, dental, group life, paid vacation, paid cell phone services, sick leave and holidays. Possibility of hybrid office environment (2-3 days in the office/face-to-face meetings) with some events.​

Case Manager - Direct Youth Services

Position Title: Case management - direct youth service

Reports to: Program Director

 

 ​Role Description: The Youth Case Manager will provide individualized case management services to youth and young adults aged 12-24, supporting them in achieving stability and personal growth. The role focuses on building trusting relationships, guiding participants toward their goals, and addressing barriers to success. The ideal candidate is passionate about empowering youth, knowledgeable about community resources, and skilled in advocacy and collaboration.

 

​Qualifications: Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience); 1-3 years in case management or youth services.

 

Knowledge: Strong understanding of case management, goal setting, and challenges facing underserved youth; familiarity with local resources for education, employment, housing, and mental health.

 

Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; culturally competent and able to engage diverse youth; proficient in documentation, client records, and Microsoft Office.

 

Attributes: Compassionate, organized, and passionate about youth support; strong time management and problem-solving skills; professional and confidential, ability to work well in teams and individually.

 

Preferred: Bachelors Degree, Bilingual/multilingual, first aid/CPR certifications, and training in trauma-informed care or crisis intervention.

 

Requirements: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and background check clearance.​

Compensation: $21-25 per hour, pay for cell phone services, flexible work schedule. 

This is a part time position, up to 32 hours per week.

Administration Staff

Job Qualifications/Duties:

  • Vendor communications and process vendor invoice payments.

  • Perform operational duties including purchasing.

  • Coordination of youth center vehicles/transportation needs/ computer/ communication systems.

  • Establish, document, and maintain accounting procedures and related financial controls.

  • Assist and guide other staff with their questions and ensure accountability in meeting financial control requirements.

  • Generate monthly payroll – via processing service (ADP).

  • Calculate and record staff vacation, sick leave, & benefits.

  • Development and data entry of agency-wide client service collection systems.

  • Maintain annual renewals on health insurance, Life and AD&D, general insurance and licensing.

  • Prepare orientation for new hired staff.

  • Maintain and schedule cleaning services for center.

  • Communications and relationship management with building manager, IT contractor, and other critical services (including scheduling building services and maintenance).

  • Provide other administrative duties and support to the Executive Director.

Compensation: Compensation: $25-30 per hour.

This is a part time position for 15-20 hours per week

Program Director 

Your Role As Program Director: SafeFutures is seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Director to join our leadership team and help drive our mission forward. In this key role, the Program Director will oversee the development and implementation of effective after-school academic and youth development programs, provide strong leadership and supervision to program staff, manage contract compliance and reporting, and lead evaluation and data collection efforts. This position is ideal for a strategic and adaptable professional who excels at building structure, managing change, and laying the foundation for programmatic growth.

 

Primary Roles and Responsibilities: Provide leadership, supervision, training, and staff evaluation for multiple programs, including case management, outreach, academic enrichment, college and career preparation, leadership development, parent support, and other related initiatives.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing after-school academic, life skills, and leadership programs for our youth.

  • Recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.

  • Collecting and analyzing data for program improvement, reports, and grants, as well as assisting in writing grants and reports.

  • Compiling and managing monthly, quarterly, biannual, annual, and other reports for invoicing and contract compliance.

  • Conducting community outreach to advocate on behalf of the participants and the program.

  • Representing SafeFutures in various funded consortiums, meetings, and community groups.

  • Negotiating and managing ongoing relationships with juvenile probation, courts, school administrators, and other related agencies.

  • Maintaining computerized information systems, evaluation records, and other related documentation.

  • Supervising and ensuring the general safety of students during program functions and activities.

  • Collaborating with other SafeFutures staff and peers in similar programs.

  • Attending training sessions, conferences, and similar events as needed.

  • Performing other related duties as necessary to help ensure program success.
